Urban Sound Brew is an audio post-production studio in Vancouver, Canada, that specializes in audio post production and lip-sync dubbing, from all major European and Asian languages into English.
Credits include TV movies, TV drama series, animation and documentaries for national broadcasters and international companies who have been our clients for over 25 years.
Our services cover lip-sync translation, recording, final mixing, 5.1 mixing and the re-editing of video titles and credits.
We also provide media buying services for broadcast, print and online advertising.

About Trevor
Trevor Pitout started his recording career in 1970 in Johannesburg South Africa.
He started out recording radio commercials, dramas and jingles on multi-track tape. After two years he move to London, England and worked for Red Bus records mixing live sound for their top artists and bands touring Europe. He then moved his career into designing sound for big scale musicals with live orchestras. His list of credits include well known musicals such as Annie, The Sound of Music, Grease, Hello Dolly and the Neil Simon and Marvin Hamlisch musical, They’re Playing our Song.
In 1982 Trevor opened his own audio facility in Richmond, Johannesburg. He recorded radio and TV commercials for advertising agencies Young & Rubicam, Gray’s, Ogilvy and DDB and within 3 years established a world-class audio post- production facility specializing in lip-sync language dubbing.
In 1993 the National Broadcaster of Germany, Deutsche Welle, became the first international client.
Urban Sound Brew currently has a client list of over fifteen international broadcasters and satellite TV stations. When Trevor moved to Canada from South Africa in 2002, his clients moved with him.
